Measurement windows
Measurement windows launch context
A measurement window is the time you give a launch before judging it.
This is useful because AI visibility data arrives through prompt runs. A page cannot improve yesterday's answer.
Measurement window on the calendar
Use the calendar to place the review after enough prompt runs.
For a small page update, a short window may be enough. For a bigger content launch, wait until several related prompts have run.
Measurement window
A launch needs time before prompt, source, and competitor movement can be read fairly.
Prompt checks
Use the same prompt set before and after the launch.
This keeps the review fair. If you change the prompts and the page at the same time, it becomes harder to know what caused the movement.
Post-launch review
Review four things:
- Did mentions change?
- Did source reads change?
- Did competitor mentions change?
- Did the answer wording improve?
If nothing changed yet, schedule another review or inspect whether the page is being read at all.
