Experiment setup
Experiment setup starts in the `Create Experiment` modal.
The real setup is simple. Give the experiment a name. Describe the goal. Add the questions the experiment should track. Then create the experiment for the selected website.
After creation, CLEA stores the experiment with its name, goal, questions, and default scheduled agent prompts. The goal is also editable later in `EXPERIMENT.md`.
Hypothesis
Use a plain goal instead of a fancy hypothesis.
Write what you want to learn or improve. For example: "Check whether the new comparison page helps CLEA appear in AI answers for AI visibility tools."
Name it
Give the experiment a short, clear label.
Write the goal
Say what should improve or become clearer.
Add questions
Use prompts that match the goal.
Create and review
Open the experiment scope and check the views.
Segment definition
The segment is the part of the workspace the experiment should watch.
In practice, this is mostly the question set and the scheduled work connected to it. Keep it narrow enough that the result can be read later.
Baseline metrics
Before judging the test, look at the state before the change.
Use the previous prompt results, answer wording, sources, and competitors. If that data does not exist yet, wait before making a decision.
