Page status
Page status tells you where a sitemap file stands.
CLEA does not need a complicated status system. The goal is to make the next action easy to see. A page can be planned, drafted, ready for review, synced to GitHub, or checked after publishing.
Use simple status words
Use words your team understands.
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Planned | The page idea exists, but the body is not ready |
| Drafting | Page Writer or CLEA chat is working on the copy |
| Review | A human should check the file before sync |
| Synced | The file has been sent to GitHub |
| Live check | The live URL should be checked after publishing |
Page status
Status words show whether a page is planned, drafting, in review, synced, or waiting for a live check.
Put the status in the file
The safest place for status is inside the markdown page.
That way the status travels with the page. If CLEA opens the file later, it can see what has already happened and what still needs attention.
## Status Review. ## Review notes - Check the intro for accuracy. - Confirm the internal links. - Run the on-page check after the live page exists.
Use status for weekly work
Status is also useful for the calendar.
If a page is planned for this week, the status tells you if it needs writing, review, sync, or a live check. This is where sitemap work connects back to action instead of staying as a nice-looking plan.
