AI visibility tracking
Daily checks across buyer-style prompts
AI visibility tracking starts with buyer-style prompts. These are questions a real buyer might ask ChatGPT or Gemini before choosing a company, product, or service.
CLEA runs those prompts and stores the answers as chatlogs. Each chatlog gives the dashboard something real to inspect later.
The goal is not to make a pretty score. The goal is to see if your brand is mentioned when the question matters.
Recommendation questions
Recommendation questions ask AI to name good options.
Use these to see if your brand appears in a shortlist.
Comparison questions
Comparison questions ask AI to compare brands or tools.
Use these to see if your positioning is clear next to competitors.
Problem-aware questions
Problem-aware questions start with a pain or job.
Use these to see if your brand appears before the buyer already knows the category.
AI visibility tracking
Tracking means saving buyer-style AI answers so mentions, sources, and competitors can be reviewed over time.
Answers become chatlogs
Each prompt answer becomes a chatlog. A useful chatlog can include the prompt, answer, model, source URLs, run time, and whether your brand was mentioned.
That gives CLEA real evidence to inspect later.
| Chatlog part | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Prompt | Shows what buyer question was asked |
| Answer | Shows the wording AI gave back |
| Model | Shows whether ChatGPT, Gemini, or another model answered |
| Sources | Shows what the model read before answering |
| Mention result | Shows if your brand appeared |
Mentions become movement
Mentions become movement when you compare them over time. One run can be noisy. A repeated pattern is stronger.
Use the dashboard period filters to compare the same view across `7D`, `30D`, or `ALL`.
If a number has a green or red movement pill, it is comparing the current period with the previous period. If the pill says `new`, CLEA does not have a fair previous period yet.
Sources explain the movement
Sources show what AI systems read before answering. This helps explain why a competitor appears or why your brand is missing.
If AI reads your site but does not name you, the page may need clearer proof.
Suggestions close the loop
Analytics should lead to action. A weak prompt, source gap, or competitor gap can become a suggestion card.
