Prompt-level gaps
Prompt-level gaps reading
Prompt-level gaps show which tracked questions create the biggest visibility problem.
This is often more useful than the overall score.
A weak prompt tells you where the buyer question and your current web proof do not line up yet.
A prompt pulls share down when competitors appear and you do not, or when you appear weakly.
Read the answer before deciding the fix.
| Gap type | What to check |
|---|---|
| Competitor appears, you do not | Source evidence and missing page proof |
| You appear after competitors | Answer wording and category clarity |
| No one appears clearly | The prompt may be too vague or too broad |
| One model names you, another does not | Model-specific sources and wording |
Comparison use
Compare the weak prompt with stronger prompts. The difference may show a missing page, weak proof, or a bad prompt.
Evidence follow-up
Ask CLEA to classify the gap before acting.
