Google Analytics data
Analytics adds behavior context
Google Analytics shows what people do after they reach the site.
In CLEA, it helps connect visibility work to real page use. A page with real visits or key events may deserve more care than a page nobody reaches yet.
This data only appears when Google Analytics is connected.
Pages people actually visit
Visited pages show where attention already exists.
Engagement after discovery
Engagement helps show whether visitors stay with the page.
Conversion-adjacent pages
Key pages near conversion can deserve extra care when planning content or page updates.
| Google Analytics signal | What it can tell CLEA |
|---|---|
| Active users | How much real audience the site had |
| Sessions | How often visits happened |
| Engagement rate | Whether visitors stayed engaged |
| Key events | Whether important actions happened |
| Channels | Where traffic came from |
GA and GSC answer different questions
Search Console shows search demand. Google Analytics shows site behavior.
Use both when deciding which page to improve first.
CLEA uses GA to weight opportunities
CLEA can use Analytics to avoid treating every page equally. A page with real sessions or key events may deserve faster review.
Connection states and missing data
If Google Analytics is not connected, CLEA should not guess active users, engagement rate, sessions, key events, or channel data.
