Competitor coverage checklist reason

Competitor coverage helps CLEA understand who should be compared in AI answers.

Some competitors come from your own knowledge. Others appear from prompt evidence.

Track known competitors and repeated prompt-discovered competitors, then ignore one-off noise until it repeats.

Inspect repeated competitor mentions, head-to-head answers, and sources that support competitor recommendations.

Do not overreact to one strange answer. Look for patterns.

Ask CLEA which competitors appear often, which ones are missing from tracking, and which prompts created the strongest competitor evidence.

Then decide whether to add, remove, or watch a competitor.

This check passes when the workspace tracks the competitors that matter for the first prompt set.

The list can change later as new evidence appears.
